After your application is submitted, an interview will be scheduled by the school administration.

All required components of the Application must be submitted to be considered complete. School officials may schedule and conduct Interviews of New Applicants as soon as a completed application is received.

Important Procedures & Info
ORDER OF ACCEPTANCE
VOL typically accepts students according to the following categories:
- Children of territorial parishioners who are deemed active by the pastor;
Siblings of current VOL students; - Children of non-territorial parishioners who are deemed active by the pastor;
- Children of VOL Alumni or legacy families as determined by the pastor;
- Children of territorial parishioners of a parish without a school or no room in their territorial parish school who are deemed active by their pastor;
- Children of non-territorial parishioners of a parish without a school or no room in their territorial parish school who are deemed active by their pastor;
- All others – including inactive parishioners, non-Catholics, etc.
In the case of a student transferring from another Archdiocesan Catholic school, before granting admission, the principal will assess the status (academic, financial obligations, and disciplinary) of the student by conferring with the previous principal.
Meeting the above criteria does not guarantee automatic acceptance.
Being a sibling and/or a parishioner does not guarantee automatic acceptance.
GRADE /AGE ELIGIBILITY
Early Learning Center Age 1 – (also known as PreK 1) children must be 1 year of age by September 30.
Early Learning Center Age 2- (also known as PreK 2) children must be 2 years of age by September 30.
Early Learning Center Age 3 – (also known as PreK3) and BESE approved PreK 3 – children must be age three by September 30.
PreK 4 – children must be age four by September 30.
FEE POLICY
All fees paid are refunded only if your child is not accepted into VOL. Once a child has been accepted, registration fees and other fees are non-refundable and non-transferable to any other child/student/applicant.
Applications and if applicable, registration, will not be processed without receipt of all required information and payment of fees.

2025-2026 Financial Aid and Scholarship Information
VOL Financial Assistance – It is mandatory that the student have already completed a minimum of 1 full school year at VOL, be registered for the 2025-2026 school year and be entering K-7th grade. The TADS application must be complete in order to apply for VOL Assistance. Please contact Jessica Doherty in the school’s office at 347-3377 for information and deadline.
The TADS form may need to be completed in order to apply and qualify for any financial assistance or scholarship. Check with the program you are applying for to obtain details. Failure to complete the TADS application, if required, will result in the application not being accepted.
It is advised that these programs are applied for as soon as they open. Deadlines for all financial assistance and scholarship programs are very strict. In some instances, applications will not be accepted if the maximum number of applications have already been received. A TADS Application Fee is required. Be aware of deadlines.
